I stumbled on Plane and Jane at the local Women’s Expo and came home and told Hubs-To-Be about this ‘cool idea’ that is targeted to women for travel purposes. One of my focuses in my degree involves tourism so I was intrigued. Plus I love to travel. And on top of that I have grand dreams of a small girl’s get-away before the wedding! I did a quick google search to find out more about the company and found the Facebook site.

I messaged “Jane” explaining I wanted to share with my readers what she was doing. When you are travelling who makes the arrangements? Who plans it all? Bare Fruit Snacks Review and Giveaway

I try to guide my children towards healthy choices.  Especially when it comes to snacking.  My kids would truly eat all day if I allowed it.  So whenever I hear “Can I have a snack?” from my three year old almost immediately after a meal, I’m not surprised.  I actually am one of the many who believe snacking is ok as long as the portions are appropriate and the choices are healthy.  That’s why when I heard about Barefruit Apple Chips I was so excited.  We got to try the Cinnamon Apple Flavor; they are made from 100% apples they are low in calorie, gluten and dairy free, high in fiber, and are just plain good-for-you.   I had my fingers crossed my kids would like them as much as I did.  I gathered them up to try the snack together.  Here are their reactions:

Grabbing more from the resealable bag!

As you can tell, they LOVED them.  Jelly Bean (who’s 11 and been exposed to much more unhealthy foods) even chowed down.  My three year old, K, asked for them for the next few days when he requested a snack.  And Baby G, well, I think this photo says it all! 

I even had Hubs-To-Be try them because I figured he’d be the hardest sell. His reaction was more than positive. I had him flip the bag over to read the ingerdients and he was pretty shocked to see the ingrendints consist of Organic Apples and Organic Cinnamon. That’s IT. Swoon. I had the chance to use an awesome site (RedWeek.com) to look for time share rentals. With a family of 5; traveling and vacations can get expensive.  With a site like this I can narrow down features (Kid Friendly, Pet Friendly etc) AND locations (Golf, Beach etc).  These time share rentals come with many amenities too!  When you use a time share rental, you have access to all the resorts amenities.  Most resorts have many wonderful options to keep anyone happy and entertained including you and your family. Also, one travelling budget breaker can be eating out at every meal!  You can prepare your meals in in your ‘home’ and save tons! Cramming all 5 of us in one hotel room can get uncomfortable.  Renting a time share can is great because we can all have our own space; vacationing without being on top of each other sounds divine!

I was actually a bit shocked to see just how inexpensive time share rentals can be; you can save hundreds compared to hotels. When owners are unable to use their timeshare weeks, renting out the time share becomes a win/win for the owner and renter! We’re actually considering a trip this winter and I’m happy to have to opportunity to use this site in our potential search!  Now you can too!!
