Looking for a gourmet treat for your sweetheart, gift for a hostess, birthday or maybe just because?  Look to further because Shari's Berries has all sorts of fancy choices perfect for any occasions.  Gorgeous cake pops, cheesecake, cookies and cookie bouquets, chocolate covered Oreos and of course chocolate covered strawberries! 

I decided to go with the classic chocolate covered strawberries but I saw these amazing Gourmet Dipped Fancy Berries and couldn't resist the idea of chocolate covered strawberries and added extras like chopped nuts, chocolate chips and extra drizzles! For those of you not too keen on the idea of these extras, don't fret!  They have Gourmet Dipped Swizzled Strawberries that look amazing.

My two dozen strawberries arrived quickly (when checking out you can decide what day you'd like it delivered, you may pay extra if you want them super fast but it's worth it.  Side note: you can still get your by Valentines Day so order NOW!). They came in a big box with an ice pack and I could hardly wait to dig in.  I was good, though and waited until Hubs-To-Be came home.  I wanted him to see they gorgeous presentation of the strawberries in their box.

When I finally got a chance to bite into these (I really only had to wait 3 hours but it felt like forever!) they were delicious!  Huge and juicy and sweet.  The strawberries themselves were great quality but adding the chocolate and then the extras on the ones I ordered, they were unbelievable good.  I loved the one with nuts!  Such a great texture and flavor together.  It took some will power not to eat them all in one sitting.  They kept well for the next few days in the refrigerator.
