I've heard such amazing things about this event and I'm excited to finally experience what every one's been talking about. From the website:
The Arizona Renaissance Festival is one of the largest of the Renaissance events in the nation because it is really five Festivals all rolled into a giant, costumed fantasy village with:
- Thirteen Stages of Continuous Live Entertainment
- An Outdoor Circus
- A Medieval Arts & Crafts Fair
- A Jousting Tournament with Three Performances Each Day
- A Day-Long Feast
The Arizona Renaissance Festival runs from February 9th-March 31st. You can save $2 by purchasing your tickets at Fry's or save $1 buying them online.

We have gone a few times. But not in about 3 or 4 years! We love feeling like we are in a different time period. The costumes are wonderful and of course the food is great! Last time we saw the "grown up" pirate show. I forget what it was called. Fun times! Thanks for the giveaway!

DeleteI went many years ago and loved the jousting an all the entertainment. Now that I have kids, I would love for them to experience it too.
ReplyDeleteI have never been to the Arizona one. Only the one in Minnesota pre-children. I would love to go and see the similarities/differences between them. I think the kiddos would love seeing new things. :)

ReplyDeleteWe went for the first time last year... loved getting necklaces made for teh whole family at the bronze sticker stand! My son says his fav is the turkey legs :) And my daughter loves getting her face painted. The hubs loves the jousting most of all! Really, all of it is wonderful and exciting!

ReplyDeleteI have not visited the Arizona one but we have gone to the Colorado one and the one in St. George Utah! I loved them both... I would love to come see this one so would my girls. Horse back riding at the Utah one.
