Organic, Natural and Cruelty Free Products by Painted Earth

I happened across Painted Earth by total accident and thank goodness!  I am always looking for natural products especially in cosmetics but truly organic and cruelty free products can be few and far between.  Painted Earth has skincare, haircare and makeup all made with natural ingredients. 

Let me start off by saying I was very happy with all the Painted Earth products I got.  The quality of the makeup was fantastic. The eyeshadows are well pigmented (and in a variety of beautiful colors).  The SuperWear mascara stands up to smudging, lasts all day and certainly lengthens my lashes.  The foundation stick is a perfect match and goes on smooth with medium coverage (and you can build on it to make it full coverage if desired) and it also has SPF 18 in it!  The SuperWear Gel eyeliner is easy to control and is perfect to create a cat eye effect.  The gloss I got is perfect to toss in my bag and is a nice pearl pink color. Both brushes (one Kabuki and the other perfect for shadows) are high quality, have not shed yet and are really soft.

The Painted Earth skincare line is magical.  No joke.  I have acne prone skin; it's so different than the type of acne I fought as an adolescent and really a bummer especially since my wedding is coming up.  I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE (I really want to emphasis how passionate I am about this product) the Painted Earth Boo Boo Gel.  The Boo Boo Gel is a natural anti inflammatory so it's good for small cuts, bruises, insect bites and blemishes!  Truth time.  I sometimes 'pick' at my pimples.  Gross, I know, but I know I'm not the only one.  I'll often get red marks or even little scab type things where a zit once was.  This works on those area like a gem.  My pores look smaller too.  I use it at night, after cleansing and I wake up with much healthier looking skin.  Seriously, after only one night I saw a difference.  I highly recommend this to anyone, especially people with skin like mine, but even if you don't struggle with acne, this product is great!

The Oil Defense Serum is perfect for under makeup or alone and I sometimes use it after I apply the Moisture Treatment for Sensitive/Acne Skin in the morning. .  The Oil Defense Serum helps problem areas (for me that's the T zone) and creates a smooth, matte finish and the Moisture Treatment doesn't make my skin breakout. The Vitamin C Serum is great for aging skin and I use it to help undo sun damage; I worked in a tanning salon for a few years in college and the effects of that are beginning to show more and more as I get older.
