A New Kind of Beauty Box
You know me; a beauty product lover. I'm a firm believer in playing with makeup and beauty products. I find it relaxing and I always feel pretty good about myself after a face mask or applying some new makeup, even if the only place I'm heading is to K's gymnastics class.I'm a huge advocate for beauty subscription boxes. I think they are a wonderful way to try new products and learn about different brands. The ones I have encountered are always an amazing deal too. Beautyfix by DermStore is definitely an amazing deal! For $49.99 (plus free shipping) you receive up to $400 worth of products. Beautyfix send full-size and deluxe travel sizes, not tiny samples! The coolest part? Beautyfix lets YOU pick what comes in your box.
A Professional Panel of Experts picks products specifically for each quarter (season) and you customize your box from those products. I got to pick 8 items and received a Quilted Vanity Case as a bonus (it's actually a great size and really nice). It was outrageously hard to pick only eight. Here's what I finally decided on (after polling friends, no joke, choosing was hard :)):
- SkinMedica Ultra Sheer Moisturizer
- Vichy Purete Themale 3-in-1 One Step Cleanser
- Raw Natural Beauty All Over Eye Shadow Brush
- Eminence Stone Crop Gel Wash
- Skindonavia Finishing Spray
- Cattiva Divino Las Mascara
- Jane Iredale 24 Karat Gold Dust- in Rose Gold
- Intelligent Beauty Labs Resue Rapid Repair Hair Mask
When I opened the Cattiva mascara a squealed, prompting Hubs-To-Be to check on me 'They blinged the mascara!!' was my excited reply. Men, they just don't get it. Not only was the mascara tube awesome the actual product worked wonders too- no clumping and amazing length. I love the Gold Dust, it adds a bit of shimmer and color to my cheek bones. Vichy is also a new brand to me, and I had heard the cleanser had a pretty perfume-y smell to it so I was a bit wary. I am delighted to announce, although it did have a scent to it, it was absolutely not 'too perfume-y' and I loved the way it left my skin!
I can't wait to see what Beautyfix and the panel of experts have in store for spring!!
