Don't you just love how rugs pull your entire room together? I know that I do! That is why I fell in love with this amazing Afton Area Rug from Mohawk Flooring that I had the chance to review! The Afton Area Rug just pulled together my living room and made everything flow!

Mohawk Flooring is a company that manufactures their rugs right here in the USA. They make gorgeous, quality products that are shipped with great care! They have products in many stores around the USA including Walmart, Target, Sears, Kohl's, and many, many more! They have a great variety of not only area rugs, but indoor/outdoor rugs, kitchen rugs, bathroom rugs, doormats and rug pads. Below is a video you can watch to learn a little more about Mohawk Flooring, how proud they are of their company and how it has grown over the years.

The Afton Area Rug that I reviewed is 60 X 96 and is Antique in color. The colors of this rug are absolutely gorgeous! The light blues, browns, yellows, and golds all swirl in perfect rhythm. The different patterns on this rug play off one another and create a type of "flow" from one pattern to the next. It is certainly aesthetically pleasing to the eye!

When I first saw this rug, I did have some reservations as to whether or not it is to "busy", but it actually works perfect as the center piece of my living room! Now saying that, my living room is rather small and doesn't consist of a coffee table. With this in mind, I picked a statement rug that would be the center of attention when you walk into the room. This rug does just that! As you can see in the before and after pictures, it really does pull the room together and create a sense of home.

As you can see in the pictures above, the rug looks great in our living room as a statement rug!

If you need a rug that you want to be the center of attention and with neutral colors, this is a great choice! Another rug I love for a statement piece is the Alcott Brown Area Rug. It is absolutely gorgeous!
